my plan:

aside from fruit, i will not eat anything that doesn't have it's calories printed on it. i only allow fruit because fruit is very rarely an unpleasant surprise...unlike muffins and other similar things (did you know that dunkin donut's reduced fat muffin has over 400 calories in it? yeah).

under no circumstances will i eat more than 800 calories a day. i will try to stay as low as possible....meaning 800 cals is an upward limit, not a goal. i don't want my body to go into starvation mode and slow my metabolism, but i don't care how long it takes to lose the weight this time. if it takes me three days to lose a pound, so be it. as long as that pound is gone and stays gone. if i go over 800 lbs, i will come up with some horrible way to punish myself to keep from doing it again. and every time i've lost 5 lbs, i'll spoil myself with some non-food-related purchase.

my short term goal is 115 lbs by the time school lets out for winter break. that's 15-20 lbs lost. i should be able to reach it, but i always plateau at 120-125....so it might take a little extra time to get past that.

my short-term non-weight goal is to buy a digital scale. reading that shaky needle sucks. i have no idea where exactly my weight lies between 130 and 135. im hoping it lies towards the lesser end. i'll find out next week, i guess.
